We prepare youth for the real world by teaching them important concepts such as responsibility, discipline, and teamwork.
Qualifications to attend the mentoring program:
- Our mentoring program serves Florence, Williamsburg, Marion, Georgetown, and Horry County residents.
- They must have a ride to all sessions and events.
- Age 12-25.
- We have partnered with SC Works to provide case management, training, and supportive services. Please call the office for qualifications for SC Works and WIOA programs.
To Apply for the mentoring program:
If you have computer access:
- Complete the client intake form on our website HERE
- Email a copy of your (parent) Picture ID along with a picture ID or a picture, if no ID is available of your child to info@Lydiasnest.org
- Once you have completed all the steps above, please call us at (843) 483-4060 to schedule an appointment to meet with the office assigned Mentee.
If you do NOT have computer access:
- Please pick up the Application Form at our office.
- Complete all necessary areas on the application.
- Return the completed Forms and a copy of your Picture ID for yourself and a picture of your child for the child’s folder to us in person only. *Do not leave personal information in the drop box or under the door!!!
- Once you have completed all the steps above, please schedule an appointment to meet with the office assigned Mentee.
The goal of the mentoring program is to give you a sense of importance, a feeling of appreciation, and ultimately to teach you that working hard is the key to success. Overall, the mentoring program helps to lead you down the path of positivity and academic achievements.
